Last minute DST tools
I've been getting tips some last minute DST tools that you might find helpful. (Note: to get the base url for these links, right mouse click the link and open in new tab or window)
For your resource databases, as Mr Miller noted last week, you'll need to update the Time zone on those. You can use his solution or ours. I personally vote for his, but if you need an official agent to do it, go for it here. Our TN details the simpler method shown by Chris - at the bottom - a simple refresh agent run on the resource documents themselves will do it. And this does not affect existing meetings, only busytime for the rooms.
For your R5 clients - you may need this next week if you don't have control of desktops. Jess Stratton has a way to determine if users have installed the patch, and a view to identify entries needing upgrading. Check it out.
Lotus Guru Kevin Pettitt has posted some pretty good stuff to help with your custom applications - and has the best photo so far...
The Daily Show gets into the action with Aclockalypse Now, in which the end of life is predicted as a result of the change this weekend. (slight warning for adult humor if you watch it very closely) I really like the call they make to Dell technical support while clicking away on a Thinkpad. The guy at the end says it all, and buddy and fellow DST teammate Michael ripped it for use as a ringtone.
I'm tired - I hate clocks - I hate politicians. I hate computers.
