What’s in YOUR closet?

There are some things in your life that are hard to part with.  I'm not talking love or money or anything like that.  NO, I'm talking about the old computer books you used to use and love.  I've kept a box with my books - the pretty yellow ones, pretty red ones, some white papers, some books.  Alas,  the time came recently when I needed the room, and the technologies have changed so much, that I had to part with some of my nostalgic favorites,  Notes 4, 4.6, 5, early Websphere stuff, a couple of magazines that had articles which were irrelevant already.    And don't ask - they're gone to the recycle center.......

So do you have a stack like this?  Still keeping them?  I have to admit to keeping one - the R4 Admin guide that I picked up from a friend on the way to my first Notes Admin job.  (Side note:  The headhunter called on a Thursday and said "Can you do Notes Administration?" I said,  "Sure!  I can do that."  Then I went by pal Terry's house and picked up the book and reported to work the next Monday.  See any definition of "chutzpah", that rates.)
