Next up - Admin 2006
I've been staying busy since Lotusphere,
but haven't been on the road. That's changing soon, though. It's
speaking season, and so far, I'm signed up for two things. ADMIN2006
in May and an internal, Premium Support customer seminar in June.
(Which you can only attend if you sign up for Premium Support - will
be glad to talk to you about that.)
Come see me if you're coming to ADMIN2006,
and if you haven't signed up, sign up NOW!.
It's a real bargain. You get tons of sessions - too many to
attend sometimes. Most attendees talk about the access that you get
to industry experts. I always learn stuff from colleagues and customers
too, so it's a chance for me to catch up with pals, see friends from my
traveling days and get to learn stuff that I'm too busy to study.
Be sure to say Hi if you see me around - I'll be the one traveling with
the blogmonkey.
Here's what I'm talking about this time:
ADMIN 101 — Messaging Configuration - this is a jumpstart - and it
covers the basics, so if you're an advanced user, attend one of the
other really awesome jumpstarts. But as always, you may learn something
you didn't know.
Making AdminP Work For You - we'll keep talking if you'll keep
listening!
Helping Users Organize with Notes Calendar Functionality - this
one is all new - we decided to focus on the more advanced things you can
do to help out users and yourself - it's focused on ND6, but has Notes
7 tips also.
Exploiting New Release 7 Mail Policy Settings for Better Client Security
and Control - this session covers the new mail policy and all the cool
stuff you can do with it. And yes, there's so much, we can fill a whole
session with the info!
HANDS-ON LAB: Exploring the New Rooms and Resource Server Task in Domino
7 - Come on over and build a Resource System from scratch - I'll show
ya how, and how to use all of the new features. It's always good
to get your hands on a computer with new features, so we have it here for
you.
